
I'm Maxacre, an illustrator, sequential/digital/traditional artist, video game developer, writer, and UI designer.
I am have been in love with art and fictional narratives for forever, and have worked with the teams of many passion project games, created my own, and strive to help visualize someone else’s dream through my art.


Education & Tools:
I am to graduate Spring of 2026 from Santa Barbara City College with three Associates degrees. One in Animation & Gaming, one in Media Arts, and one in Liberal Arts & Sciences with an emphasis in Humanities. I have skills in Adobe products such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Animate, and Media Encoder. I also create most of my work using Procreate and Aseprite.Current Projects:

“Theo's Coffee Shop”, a tile-set of the coffee shop for the game A Writer's Muse, space is meant to feel cozy and warm. Dimensions: 912 × 480 px, 2 px brush, 48 × 48 px tiles. Designed in Aseprite, and implemented in RPG Maker MV.

“Train Car”, a tile-set of a train car from the train that the player character arrives into town on in A Writer's Muse. Dimensions: 576 × 480 px, 2 px brush, 48 × 48 px tiles. Designed in Aseprite, and implemented in RPG Maker MV.

“Gullet Street 2”, a tile-set of one half of the main street of Roosevelt, the fictional town where A Writer’s Muse takes place. Dimensions: 1440 × 240 px, 2 px brush, 48 × 48 px tiles. Designed in Aseprite, and implemented in RPG Maker MV.
